So, this was the last weekend of october. P had to work unfortunately so i had two days on my own. Saturday was ok, he went to work from noon, and i wnet for a coffee and a mini-shopping - mini coz my budget was mini too. Sunday was a bit rougher, wanted to do much more housework then i managed but i did start the christmas jumper and progressed quite a lot on it.
Then P made me watch a movie - he tries to make me watch a horror but i adamantly refuse it. I have enough cr@p going on with my head don't need some stupid scary thing as well.
So he made me watch Green Mile instead, which i was also afraid of though from different reasons. Gosh it was three hours long.
I could've cried all along if i didn't check myself but i managed.

HP 7 /1
Watched it yesterday! Boyfriend wanted to take me to Lakeside because they have sofas there (and beer ;) but bus replacements were runnning instead of the trains so we postponed that. The local cinema was nearly full, so had a look around the area and ended up going to Romford. The whole day was bit tight on the schedule but also we had luck each and every time - all trains and buses were on time, with minimal waiting. The shopping centre we went to was a nice building design-wise, all floating roofs and creativity, but i bet the architect never heard about fear of heights. There was a pavement escalator (not stairs but smooth surface) wich went up with a u-bend, very slowly, in the middle of the building, far away from any wall, with two floor high drops on both sides. Freaked both of us out. Had to look up the stairs later which were no more then fire-exit stairs, stickered up with "Stairs to all levels" for people like us.Other then this, it was really nice. We had dinner at a fully packed Nando's and silly me realized after finishing that they do indeed make plain chicken :P Usually i have medium hot ones, but yesterday i wasn't in a spicy food - mood. For the movie we got ourselves a twister bottle of blue and orange fruit juice (wich leaked after the crashed ice in it melted), sweet popcorn, and a selection of sweets. Felt like being on Hogwarts Express trying out all the sweets from the trolley :)
We catched the last train home, and our luck lasted, both the toilets and the waiting room were open so i was saved from having to stand in the freezing night at 1 am for 40 minutes while in desperate need of a loo.
And the film itself? Mmmm :) This was the first HP movie which i didn't felt rushed, they finally had time to do all the things nicely, staying true to the book's plot as much as possible without the feeling that they left half the important things out. The first scene, as soon they showed Hermione in her room... i knew what will happen, and it made me cry right away. And a couple more scenes too, not to mention i always well up when the main title comes up. Also we agreed that Ron was the best in the whole movie, i just cant get over Hermione's talk, the actress' timing is always a bit off for me, and the guy who plays Harry is just going along somehow. All in all i really liked this as finally it didnt feel like its just an illustration of the book version, but a real interpretation.
On the knitting front, i messed up the seconf glove. Started the fingers in the same row i did the thumb in :P

El ne felejtsem - Note to self
Reggelt Utolsó mohikánnal kezdeni nem jó ötlet. Szombat reggelt, így hétvégét, még kevésbé. Mert 1) szomorú leszek tőle 2) dühös is. És szomorú. És azzal elmegy az egész délelőtt.Starting the day with The Last of the Mohicans is not a good idea. Even less so if that morning is a saturday, and so it is the start of the weekend. Becouse it will make me 1) sad 2) and angry. And sad. And that tooks the whole morning whit it.
Huh. Austen esti mese hozzá képest.
Well not the whole, i did finish a hat and washed-blocked a shawl. Yipppy :) Also i went to the library so i'm reading Shakespeare now (Othello). Ugh. Austen is kid's tale compared to him.
"Thou told'st me thou didst hold him in thy hate. " - Azt mondád nekem, Hogy gyűlölöd őt
Ez ma így hangzik: Which nowadays is:
You said (told me) you hate him. (kb.)
And it is like this in every third sentence. The uncommon old-fashioned words and the symbols are the icing on the cake.

Átmeneti lányos elmezavar - Temporary girly insanity
So i checked the cinema's program and went to watch New moon. 'Coz i like 1) wolves 2) forests 3) native americans . Mmmm.
There should have been an order to prohibit giggling. At 80% female audience, i'm not expecting much, but what was going on here was insufferable. The girls sitting in the first 3 rows just giggled on everything and constantly. Ok, not constantly, but in the wrong places sometimes - i mean, what is funny about Jacob sleeping? It was cute, not funny. But the wolves "fighting" over the muffins, then there was some serious silence. Female mind, i'll never get it :P :D
My personal opinions:
Best thing in the movie: i feel a bit, hm, overaged for this boys, but wow there was some eye-candy here. Jacob/Taylor Lautner got a huuuge whooop for taking off his t-shirt :D Every time :D Team Edward had they moment too, though i just couldn't stop giggling (in silence - I do have self-control :D) I always found vampires and they serious paleness slightly amusing. Guess i'm a wolf-girl.
Ah, and the wolves. I love the wolves. They werent too realistic, but still.
Worst thing : i'd like to kick the bottom side of the person/people who put that hair on Jasper. He was downright ugly, especially after the first movies handsomeness.
Biggest lough: "Guy's such a marshmallow". I knew it will come as i read it in the book (in another bout of girly insanity) but it still kicked.
Most annoying: Bella had the same face thorough the movie. On her own birthday while talking with Edward, when being depressed, even after getting Edward back. That's at least three different stages, three very different situations, and in the book, she was different. Ok, maybe it's hard to act it out, but wish they could.
Best change compared to the books: Charlie. Maybe being the most mature actor among so many youngsters does the trick.
Overall, not bad, for me this book was the weakest among the four, so i guess they couldn't do much with the movie either. Looking forward for Eclipse and the big fight :)

(Nem) névnap - (Not) namesday
Bár a Cormac - Piton páros megmentette a jelenetet :D 3.
Azóta viszont csatatér a konyha.
Huhh.
...
According to the (hungarian) calendar, today is my namesday, one of the two official dates in the year - but we celebrate it in february with my mom who has the same name (actually it's me who has the same name as her...)
On sunday, i finally watched HP6 - it was yummmy, i loved it, the first HP movie which was a real movie for me. Snape/Alan Rickman is... well, every time he was on screen, i wasn't watching anything or anyone else. Knowing the seventh book. And yes, this role needs an actor like Rickman. Spot-on.
There where three things however in the movie i did not liked: 1. Harry-Ginny thing was a bit less subtle then in the book, but still ok 2. Hermione's clevage - do they really had to show it?! Though the Cormac-Snape duo saved the scene... 3. Where are the robes? Everyone's lookin' like friggin' muggles in that school except McGonagall, who looked like she put her evil stepsister's robes on.
Ok nitpicking finished, everything else i loved :)
I still dont have a roomie but i have such a mess that i'm afraid to leave my room and face the kitchen which i completely ruined - 'coz i was such a good girl on saturday and cooked dinner (burned grilled-chicken with baked steamed-rice. Thousand-island sauce saved the day :) ) plus pancakes at the evening with strawberry - cottage cheese filling. And on sunday i even baked bread.
And, on the knitting front, i finally defeated the stubborn monsters of armholes - had to rip back only twice...
Now i'm gathering my courage to carry on with the yoke pattern.
(And facing the heroic call of having to wash the dishes).

Szaunahét - A week of Sauna
Nemnem.
Hozzátok a kamiont. "

...
Well i can't write about crations them being much longer to do than just reading/listening/watching...
Watched: Harry Potter and the chamber of Secrets. My least favourite amongs the hp books, and probably among the movies too. Lockhart is a great character, but annoying nevertheless, as is the whole story with all the backlashes of fame and a nasty reptile going around. ok, since the sixth book i look it a bit differently too, but still. Anyways, done, watched, let's proceed to the next one :)
Listening: Guns'n'Roses: Use Your Illusion II. Oh my. Almost forgot how cool this band is, 'specially this album. Ususally i listen to more harder music ( not rock, but metal) but lately they have a depressing effect on me, so Guns' is the right for me now. Still has great gitar stuff, is rock, and is postive.
On an interesting note, a few years back, i met up a coiple of kids at a Tolkien meeting who were 5-7 years my junior. And when i heard a guns' song in the radio, and said, hey, listen! they didn't even know this band existed! Crazy. But two years later, i run into a few of them, in a middle of an In Flames concert. So i guess they aren't lost completly :)
(Will be) reading: Jane Austen: Persuasion. Bought it on saturday for 20 p, and even started to write a post from that (day) but then we went out to cinema so its unfinished. I cant decide if its alright to post something out of order/dated back... anyways, i'm looking forward for the book, coz unlike Sense ans Sensibility, i did not read or see it in any form before, i dont know anything about the book aside of who wrote it.

Filmek - Movies
Inkheart: After missing a couple of fantasy films in the last two years, i finally got to see one - it was really refreshing. Liked it :) Nothing special, just a good, fairy-tale-y, fantasy book-ish one-and-a-half hour.
Angels and Demons: The problem with Dan Brown's books is, at least with this and the Da Vinci code, that they are written so movie-like that they can't be made into a really good movie. The filmmakers done well though, the shortings and plot-cuts were finely made, there was some humour (the second scene in the archives was hilarious), the plot did made sense (mostly), and it was nice to see Ewan McGregor again. And wasn't as scary as the book, at least for me.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: I'm actually in the middle of this, but this is the first time i watch it with original audio - in english, and not in hungarian dub. I always thought that the audio just doesn't go smooth with the visuals, and im actually glad that this was only because of the hungarian dub; the original is really good. Now i understand why did they choose that kid to play Harry :)
